Blog Formatting & Setup

Upload supplied content, format headings and paragraphs, add links, set the featured image and apply your website's existing blog layout.

Video and image integration

Embed supplied YouTube or Vimeo videos, add supplied images, include appropriate alt text and check display across devices.

On-page SEO

Configure the SEO title and meta description, set the focus keyphrase, review heading structure and add featured image.  (Existing SEO plugin required.)

Testing & Quality Checks

Check the published post's layout, links, video embeds, mobile display and relevant SEO settings.

What isn't included

This service covers uploading and formatting your supplied content, embedding your video, basic on-page SEO configuration and testing. It doesn't include writing the blog article, video editing, transcription, extensive keyword research, a comprehensive SEO audit or ongoing SEO strategy and implementation. Additional work can be quoted separately.

Why does this matter?

Your blog posts are an opportunity to share valuable information, showcase your expertise and help your audience discover your business. Taking care with the presentation, video integration and SEO setup helps create a better visitor experience and gives search engines useful information about your content.

While these steps support your website's search visibility, they can't guarantee rankings, traffic or video appearances in search results.

My aim is to take the technical work off your to-do list, so you can focus on creating content and running your business.

Important information

  • Content supplied by you: Blog text, video links and any images must be provided ready to use.

  • SEO scope: Includes basic on-page SEO configuration, not extensive keyword research, SEO strategy, article writing or guaranteed search rankings. This plan works with with your existing SEO plugin, and plan pricing does not include plugin installation or configuration. These will be quoted separately. I recommend Yoast SEO or AIOSEO.

  • Video extras: Transcription, caption creation, video editing and specialist video SEO are not included.

  • Minimum fee: Applies to each blogging task, with additional time charged at the applicable hourly rate in 15 minute increments.

  • Additional work: Any work outside these inclusions will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.
  • Service Agreement: Before work begins, you'll be asked to sign a service agreement outlining the scope of work and expectations, so we're both clear on what's included and have a shared understanding of the service.
  • No Fixed-term contracts: You're not locked in to my services for any period of time and can cancel at any time with a month's written notice.
