Do I have to sign a lock-in contract?
There are no fixed-term lock-in contracts for maintenance plans. They're invoiced month to month (automated to go out on the 19th), so you can cancel anytime with a 30-day written notice.
However, before engaging with ACT Websites for WordPress maintenance services, you'll be required to sign a service agreement outlining the terms and conditions of services provided. This ensures we are on the same page before services can commence.
The good news is that your price is locked in for a whole year from the date you sign up. So it's guaranteed not to go up in that first year.
What are my payment options?
For your convenience, I offer two payment options for maintenance and keyword ranking plans.
- Direct Deposit: Pay directly into my bank account to avoid credit card fees and surcharges.
- Set Up Direct Debit: The customer may use the direct debit option within their bank account to set up hassle-free regular payments.
- Online Payments: Pay with your credit or debit cards. Stripe has a low 1.7% surcharge plus 30 cents per transaction.

What if I miss a payment?
Please note that if two payments are missed, your service may be cancelled. Before that happens, I’ll always email you to give you the chance to settle the account or cancel your plan if needed.
If there’s no response, the service will be cancelled automatically. My goal is to keep you informed at every step so you always know where things stand and have full control over your options.
I offer automatic payments via bank direct debit, making it simple and stress-free to stay on top of your payments without missing a due date.
Can you create a custom site care plan?
For those who would like to add another feature, or remove features that aren't required, contact me to discuss your requirements and options.
What do 'minor updates' mean?
Within the Thrive Professional site care plan, you can request minor content updates that don't exceed 30 minutes to swap out text or an image. This does not include layout design, SEO or any other type of work. You will be notified if additional time is required to complete the work as additional time required for content management task will be invoiced at an hourly rate.
What is 'Keyword Rank Tracking?'
Keyword tracking helps small businesses understand what their ideal customers are searching for and how they’re finding them online. By monitoring the right keywords, you can see what’s working, spot new opportunities, and adjust your content to improve visibility in search results.
