Two Important points to consider before updating your plugins:
- Just a quick reminder to create a backup of your website so that you’ll have a restore point from which to recover your site in case anything goes wrong.
- To get started,pick a time to update your plugins when your website is not going to be potentially used by clients. Your website will go into maintenance mode when you do any updates.
- Though you select all the plugins to update, the plugins that will actually update are the ones due to be updated.
- Bulk updates are not suitable nor are they safe for updating membership, Woocommerce or online learning sites. These sites require safe updates that can be tested on a staging site prior to going live.
